The greenhouse has been revitalized and the freshmen biology class has become the caretakers as they work with Master Gardeners who have been certified through the University of Illinois Extension Program. The reformation project has taken nearly 6 months. Our ultimate goal is to have a Farmers Market that provides fresh organic produce for the under-served communities within the District 206 boundaries. Additionally, we will partner with the Bloom High School National Honor Society (NHS) to grow and maintain their poinsettias for their annual winter fund raiser. We believe we can double their profits to help increase the amount of money available for college scholarship. (See the pictures below)
